In May 2026, I rented a car and drove through Italy and southern France with my wife, focusing on street photography along the way. We started in Bologna and Florence, then crossed into France through Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Antibes, and finished in Annecy. Each stop had its own character, from the density and warmth of Italian streets to the Riviera blues of Antibes, the coastal edge of Marseille, the slower rhythm of Provence, and finally the calm, mountain backdrop of Annecy.
